How to choose the Right Radiator

Choosing the right radiator is something that you can easily do yourself with the aid of modern methods. Radiators are usually sold with a BTU (British Thermal Unit) output. You can roughly calculate how many BTU’s your new radiator should be by multiplying the width by the length by the height of your room in feet and then multiply by 4. For example, if your room is 14 feet long by 8 feet wide by 7 feet high, your calculation is 14 x 6 x 8 x 4 which equals 3136. This gives you a rough guide as to calculating the size of radiator (BTU output) needed for any room. There are other factors, such as window size and position of the radiator/s required and if you have any concerns, call one of our experts out for an accurate assessment.
